NeoSpace Challenge

NeoSpace Europe, where talents and industry meet

Talent development is one of Luxembourg’s main focuses, which is why for the first time since its initiation, NeoSpace Europe introduces a brand-new concept entirely dedicated to talents.

The Luxembourg Space Agency cordially invites final-year Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD students from across the world, enrolled in space-related programmes, to test their skills against real-world challenges issued by Luxembourg industry leaders. This intensive two-day event offers a unique chance to work on use-cases currently faced within the sector while collaborating with peers from different backgrounds. It’s an opportunity to build valuable experience, connect with relevant companies, and put your academic knowledge into practice.

Challenges

Luxembourg’s space ecosystem is built on a unique synergy where technical innovation aligns with legal frameworks, and commercial viability. As a global hub for the orbital economy and space resources, the Grand Duchy often operates on uncharted grounds to fill existing gaps within the global space sector.

By participating, you will step directly into this model, addressing the multifaceted hurdles that local companies face in their journey towards success and how it translates on the international stage. This involves developing innovative solutions for satellite systems, robotics, and AI, making viable business models and market strategies while simultaneously navigating the international treaties and licensing frameworks that govern the sector’s evolution.

Teams are formed and challenges are announced several weeks before the event. This period allows participants to establish a workflow, align with their teammates, and begin preliminary work on their projects.
